At Bright Eyes Family Vision Care we believe strongly in giving back to the Tampa Bay area, to care for the eyes of all those in need. Outreach and charity programs represent an opportunity to express the level of commitment our optometrists have to our community. The staff also plays an important role in our outreach.
These are ongoing vision and community programs we participate in:
InfantSEE is a no-cost public health program that provides vision and eye health evaluations for babies between the ages of six to twelve months. Learn more.
VISION USA was established in 1991 to provide basic eye examinations to Americans in need, and is currently available in 40 states and the District of Columbia. AOA member optometrists donate their services at no cost. Learn more.
Optometry Giving Sight is the only global fundraising initiative that specifically targets the prevention of blindness and impaired vision due to uncorrected refractive error – simply the need for an eye exam and a pair of glasses. Learn more.
Additionally we have provided support for:
- The Children’s Dream Fund
- St. Jude’s
- Many local and crowdfunded worthy projects.
