We are looking for one or two fantastic Florida-licensed optometrists to work with us part-time. Drs. Bonilla-Warford and Knighton specialize in children’s vision, myopia control, vision therapy, and sports vision. With these aspects of the practice growing quickly, we need help seeing primary eye care patients. We have a wonderfully creative and supportive staff to help you provide excellent care for our patients. As we grow, this could turn into a full-time position soon.

You do not need to have significant experience with kids, but you should be warm and friendly with patients of all ages. We have a strong practice culture and positive work environment. We are ready to find the right person for our upbeat practice so if you are interested, please contact us at office@brighteyetampa.com!

Vision Therapist (filled)

Do you love kids and gain personal satisfaction from seeing them grow and develop? If so, you might be our next great vision therapist. Our practice is growing, and we are looking for smart self-motivated people for a part-time or full-time position, with hours split between our offices in Westchase and Tampa Palms. Vision therapists work directly with children and adults who have trouble reading, working, doing sports, or performing academically due to poor visual skills. The treatment includes activities such as special glasses and virtual reality video games. It feels like “play” but is actually a highly structured program of exercises prescribed by our doctors to improve performance. Our program graduates get better grades, enjoy reading, and see more clearly and comfortably than they did before. You don’t need experience– if you are a happy and positive person who is looking for a long-term position that makes a difference in peoples’ lives, we will provide all of the necessary training to make you an excellent vision therapist.

If you are a problem solver and a team player, you will enjoy working with us. Full-time schedule is currently 5 days per week, including some Saturdays 8:30am-2:30pm, with some weekday evenings possible. Part time is about 20 to 25 hours a week.
